- 1 ¾ cups Almond Flour
- 1 ½ cups Icing Sugar
- 4 Egg Whites (room temperature)
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine almond flour and icing sugar, sift them together to avoid lumps.
- In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until frothy, gradually add granulated sugar, and whip until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in the vanilla extract.
- Carefully fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites until achieving a lava-like consistency.
- Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe small circles on the prepared sheets.
- Let piped macarons sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until they lift easily from the parchment.
- Allow to cool completely before filling.
