Delicious bite-sized stuffing balls that capture the festive flavors of traditional Thanksgiving stuffing, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Ingredients

- 6 cups cubed bread (mixed white and whole grain)
- 2-3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup melted butter (or olive oil)
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- A mix of dried thyme, sage, and rosemary
- 2 large eggs (or flax egg as substitute)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and toast the bread on a baking sheet for 10 minutes until slightly golden.
- Melt butter in a large skillet, add chopped onion and celery, and sauté until soft (5-7 minutes).
- In a large bowl, combine toasted bread, sautéed vegetables, herbs, and season with salt and pepper. Add eggs and enough broth for moistness.
- Scoop portions and shape into golf ball-sized balls. Place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, turning halfway for even cooking.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
Feel free to customize with cooked sausage, nuts, or dried cranberries for extra flavor and texture.
