Description

A quick and vibrant dish combining chewy ramen noodles with mixed veggies in a sweet-spicy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 packs ramen noodles
  • 2 cups mixed veggies (broccoli, bell peppers, snap peas)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste or sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Begin by boiling water in a pot and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Toss in your mixed veggies and sauté for 3-5 minutes or until they’re tender yet crisp.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, and chili paste.
  5. Add the cooked ramen noodles and sauce to the skillet with the veggies. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated and heated through.
  6. Finish off with freshly chopped green onions. Dig in and enjoy!

Notes

Adjust the heat to your spice tolerance and feel free to swap noodles for other options like udon or rice noodles.
