- 3 cups canned chickpeas (about 2 cans), drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (or coconut sugar/maple sugar)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas.
- Dry the chickpeas on a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.
- In a bowl, combine chickpeas with olive oil, sugar, cinnamon, and salt; toss to coat.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out the chickpeas in a single layer.
- Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Let cool slightly before enjoying.
Notes
Make sure the chickpeas are completely dry before roasting to achieve the best crunch.
