- Cinnamon Rolls
- 3 Apples (Granny Smith, Fuji, or Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- 4 tbsp Butter (unsalted)
- Icing (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Cut each cinnamon roll into bite-sized pieces.
- Chop the apples into small chunks.
- In a bowl, mix the chopped apples with brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Spread half of the cinnamon roll pieces in the greased dish.
- Add the apple mixture on top, then layer with the remaining cinnamon roll pieces.
- Melt the butter and drizzle over the top layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool, then drizzle with icing if desired.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
