Description
These sweet and spicy chicken wings are juicy, tender, and coated in a sticky glaze that balances sweetness and heat, making them the ultimate crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha or hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, Sriracha, garlic powder, ginger, and black pepper.
- Place the wings in a large bowl, pour half of the sauce over them, and toss until fully coated.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top, arranging the wings in a single layer on the rack. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- In the last 10 minutes, brush the remaining sauce over the wings and bake a little longer for the sticky glaze.
- Once golden brown, sprinkle with sesame seeds if using and serve.
Notes
Pat the wings dry before baking for crispy skin. Use a rack for even cooking. Adjust spice levels to your preference.
