Description

A delightful and moist banana bread with crunchy nuts and a hint of warm cinnamon, perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 medium ripe bananas
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Add melted butter, sugar, and egg to the mashed bananas and stir to combine.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chopped nuts.
  8. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
