Description

A delightful twist on traditional lasagna packed with shrimp, crab meat, and a creamy, cheesy sauce, all layered beautifully for a comforting dish.


Ingredients

  • Lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook shrimp seasoned with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Mix ricotta, spinach, minced garlic, and a sprinkle of salt in a bowl.
  4. Spread a thin layer of cream in a baking dish, followed by three noodles.
  5. Layer half the seafood mixture, half of the ricotta blend, and a layer of mozzarella.
  6. Repeat the layering with another set of noodles, seafood, ricotta, and mozzarella.
  7. Top with remaining noodles, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden.
  9. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use fresh seafood for the best flavor. You can assemble the lasagna a day in advance and bake it the next day.
