Description

Delightfully soft baked donuts flavored with chocolate, topped with melted chocolate, toasted marshmallows, and crushed graham crackers.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix the sugar, egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill the donut pan wells about three-quarters full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool slightly, then dip the tops in melted chocolate and sprinkle with marshmallows and graham crackers.
  8. Toast the marshmallows if desired, then let the chocolate set before serving.

Notes

For a fluffier topping, use marshmallow fluff instead of mini marshmallows. For a less sweet version, opt for dark chocolate.
