- 2 cups Apples, chopped
- 1 cup Pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar (for topping)
- 1/4 cup Melted Butter (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, beat the butter until creamy, then add sugar and mix until fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then pour in the milk, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently mix in the chopped apples.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, pecans, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly for the topping.
- Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle half the topping, add the remaining batter, and finish with the rest of the topping.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and enjoy!
