Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Apples, chopped
  • 1 cup Pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. In another bowl, beat the butter until creamy, then add sugar and mix until fluffy.
  5. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then pour in the milk, mixing until combined.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Gently mix in the chopped apples.
  8. In a separate bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, pecans, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly for the topping.
  9. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle half the topping, add the remaining batter, and finish with the rest of the topping.
  10. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and enjoy!
