Ingredients
Scale

- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 cup peach butter (or peach preserves)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add the cold, cubed butter and work it in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the milk gently until just combined.
- Melt the peach butter in a baking dish in the warm oven.
- Spoon the biscuit dough into the dish, ensuring they are nestled in the peach butter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the biscuits are golden and risen.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Use cold butter for flaky texture; don’t overmix the dough to keep biscuits tender; experiment with different fruit butters.
