Description

Delicious and crispy oven-baked tacos filled with savory meat and melted cheese, perfect for a cozy night in or feeding a crowd.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Soft corn or crunchy hard taco shells
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or Turkey (or plant-based meat for vegetarian option)
  • 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, sour cream, salsa
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown your ground meat and drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and a splash of water, simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Arrange taco shells in a baking dish.
  4. Spoon the cooked meat into each taco shell.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the filled tacos.
  6. Bake in the oven for approximately 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before adding toppings and serve.

Notes

For a spice kick, add diced jalapeños into the meat mixture. Mix different cheeses for unique flavors.
