Ingredients

- Soft corn or crunchy hard taco shells
- 1 lb Ground Beef or Turkey (or plant-based meat for vegetarian option)
- 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar and Monterey Jack)
- Toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, sour cream, salsa
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown your ground meat and drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and a splash of water, simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange taco shells in a baking dish.
- Spoon the cooked meat into each taco shell.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the filled tacos.
- Bake in the oven for approximately 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before adding toppings and serve.
Notes
For a spice kick, add diced jalapeños into the meat mixture. Mix different cheeses for unique flavors.
