Description

Succulent, spiced meat skewers, easy to make and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef
  • 1 onion, grated or finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat with grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, allspice, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well using your hands.
  2. Cover the mixture and let it chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  3. With wet hands, mold the mixture around the skewers, forming long sausages.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
  6. Let the kebabs rest for a few minutes before serving with pita bread and fresh veggies.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider serving with tahini sauce or tzatziki. Keep the meat mixture cold and avoid overmixing for best results.
