Description

A creamy and cheesy casserole dish made with broccoli, cauliflower, and sausage, perfect for a keto diet.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli, chopped
  • 2 cups cauliflower, chopped
  • 1 lb spicy Italian sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Wash and chop the broccoli and cauliflower.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat, add cream cheese and heavy cream, stirring until smooth. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and half the cheddar cheese, stirring until melted.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine broccoli, cauliflower, sausage, and cheese sauce until well coated.
  5. Pour into a greased casserole dish, top with remaining cheddar cheese, and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use coconut cream and dairy-free cheese alternatives.
