Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder, then set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla and almond extracts.
  5. Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden around the edges.
