Description

A delightful blend of creamy cheesecake, spiced apples, and a buttery crumble topping, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham crackers, crushed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 cups apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs, combine with melted butter, and press into a springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes until golden.
  3. Prepare the apple filling by tossing the sliced apples with cinnamon and sugar.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream and mix well. Incorporate eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  5. Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust, add the spiced apple filling, and top with the remaining cheesecake mix.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and butter until crumbly, then sprinkle over the cheesecake.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  8. Cool at room temperature before chilling in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Slice and enjoy!
