Description

A delicious and comforting pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and fresh herbs, perfect for late-night cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Spaghetti or Linguine
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • Parmesan Cheese (grated)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a big pot of salted water to a boil, and cook your pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve about a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Prep the Garlic: While the pasta cooks, peel and slice your garlic thinly.
  3. Heat Oil and Garlic: In a large skillet, pour a generous amount of olive oil and gently sauté the sliced garlic over medium heat until golden brown.
  4. Add Red Pepper Flakes: Stir in the red pepper flakes and let them sizzle for just a moment.
  5. Combine With Pasta: Toss the drained pasta into the skillet with the garlic oil. Add a splash of the reserved pasta water.
  6. Add Fresh Herbs: Stir in the chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Finish With Cheese: Serve the pasta hot, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a splash of cream or butter. Use fresh garlic for better flavor.
