Description

A sweet and savory dish featuring tender chicken breasts coated in a flavorful mix of honey and mustard.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over, making sure it’s well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden. Optionally, broil for the last 3-5 minutes for a crisp finish.
  5. Let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.

Notes

Marinate longer for deeper flavor. Monitor cooking time to check for doneness.
