- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and black pepper. Whisk until combined.
- Place the skirt steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, making sure it’s well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill or skillet until hot.
- Remove the steak from the marinade, shaking off excess liquid. Grill for about 3-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or cook longer if preferred well done.
- Let the steak rest for about 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
