A comforting and cheesy hashbrown casserole that’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.

- 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hashbrowns
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom for vegetarian)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup diced onions (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and half of the cheddar cheese. Sprinkle in garlic powder and onions, mix well.
- Melt butter and pour it into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread the hashbrown mixture on top.
- Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Feel free to customize with different cheeses or add veggies like jalapeños for extra flavor.
