- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small yellow onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Boil the egg noodles according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and mushrooms to the skillet; sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and paprika, cooking for another minute.
- Add the beef broth, bring to a simmer, and cook for 5-7 minutes to reduce.
- Lower the heat and stir in sour cream until well mixed.
- Toss the cooked noodles into the sauce until coated.
Notes
For a healthier alternative, replace sour cream with Greek yogurt. Adjust the thickness of the sauce to your preference.
