Description

A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak featuring juicy ground beef and melted cheese in soft rolls, perfect for a casual dinner or game day feast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chop the bell peppers and onions into thin strips.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers; sauté for about 5-7 minutes until onions are translucent and peppers are tender.
  4. Reduce heat to low, layer provolone cheese over the beef and veggies, allowing it to melt.
  5. Load the beef and cheese mixture into the hoagie rolls and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, allow the onions to caramelize well and serve the cheesesteaks hot.
