Description

Juicy and flavorful chicken breasts marinated in Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and spices for a tender and zesty dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs. Stir well.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the bowl and coat thoroughly with the yogurt mixture. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours.
  3. Preheat the grill to high heat or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or bake for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with tofu. Leftovers can be shredded for wraps or grain bowls.
