- 5-6 sheets phyllo dough
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lay out phyllo sheets in a greased baking dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
- In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, Greek yogurt, honey, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Pour the creamy filling over the layered phyllo pastry, spreading it evenly.
- Fold the edges of the phyllo dough over the filling and brush more butter on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden and puffed, then let cool before cutting into squares.
- Drizzle extra honey on top before serving.
Notes
Thaw phyllo overnight in the fridge. Use plenty of butter for a crispy texture. Chill before serving for easier slicing.
