Description

Delicious gingerbread truffles combining warm spices with creamy chocolate, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups gingerbread cookies, crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white)

Instructions

  1. Crush the cookies in a food processor to fine crumbs.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cookie crumbs, cream cheese, powdered sugar, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals until smooth.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  7. Refrigerate until the chocolate is firm, about 30 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Use room-temperature cream cheese for a smoother mixture. Feel free to experiment with different types of chocolate for coating.
