Description

A delightful combination of tender steak chunks seared in garlic butter, paired with creamy parmesan pasta for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz shell pasta
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the shell pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another minute.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese, adding a dash of pasta water if the sauce gets too thick.
  6. Add the drained pasta and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Plate the dish and garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half and use flank steak. Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
