Description

A creamy and comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken and bowtie pasta, tossed in a garlicky cream sauce with melty mozzarella.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the diced chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and allow it to cook for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Let it simmer and thicken for 3-4 minutes. Add in the mozzarella and parmesan, stirring until melted and well-combined.
  5. Toss the cooked bowtie pasta into the sauce mixture. Stir to coat everything evenly. Adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or herbs if necessary.
  6. Garnish with extra mozzarella or parmesan, and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing in spinach or sun-dried tomatoes. Use freshly grated cheese for the best melt.
