- Preheat the Oven: Set it to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the Butter: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, then remove it from heat.
- Mix Sugars and Eggs: Stir in both sugars until combined, then beat in the eggs one by one, followed by the vanilla.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and instant coffee.
- Blend Wet and Dry: Gradually add the dry mix to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan, and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out slightly moist.
- Prepare Frosting: While cooling, mix powdered sugar, milk, and instant coffee until smooth and creamy.
- Frost: Once the brownies are cool, spread the frosting generously on top.
