Description

A creamy, velvety hot chocolate made easily in your slow cooker, perfect for chilly days and festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups milk (whole, skim, or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Marshmallows or whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Pour the milk into your crockpot, then add the cocoa powder, chocolate chips, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir gently to mix.
  2. Cover the crockpot and set it to low. Heat for approximately 120-180 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Check the texture after a couple of hours. Add more milk if it’s too thick.
  4. Serve hot in mugs topped with marshmallows or whipped cream.

Notes

Experiment with different types of milk or flavors for a unique twist. You can store leftover hot chocolate in the fridge for up to a week.
