- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Marshmallows or whipped cream (for topping)
Instructions
- Pour the milk into your crockpot, then add the cocoa powder, chocolate chips, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir gently to mix.
- Cover the crockpot and set it to low. Heat for approximately 120-180 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Check the texture after a couple of hours. Add more milk if it’s too thick.
- Serve hot in mugs topped with marshmallows or whipped cream.
Notes
Experiment with different types of milk or flavors for a unique twist. You can store leftover hot chocolate in the fridge for up to a week.
