Ingredients

- String cheese or mozzarella sticks
- Flour (or gluten-free flour)
- 2 Eggs (or flaxseed egg for vegan option)
- 1 cup Bread crumbs (plain, seasoned, panko, or crushed cornflakes)
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian herbs (to taste)
Instructions
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, another with beaten eggs, and the last with breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Roll each cheese stick in flour, dip in the egg mixture, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Freeze the breaded cheese sticks on a baking sheet for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy, or fry in oil until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then serve with desired dipping sauce.
Notes
For best results, freeze the cheese sticks before cooking to maintain their shape.
