- 1 lb beef steak (flank or sirloin)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheese (provolone or mozzarella)
- 1 bell pepper (red or green)
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Thinly slice the beef against the grain.
- Sauté onions and bell peppers in a skillet until soft and caramelized, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the sliced beef, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until just cooked through.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese with shredded cheese.
- Spread the cheese mixture on a slice of beef, add sautéed veggies, and roll tightly.
- Place roll-ups on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Slice the beef very thinly for best texture, and experiment with additional veggies like mushrooms or spinach.
