Description

A comforting dish combining tender chicken with flavorful stuffing, slow-cooked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Breasts or Thighs (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 box Stuffing Mix (traditional herb or cornbread)
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 stalks Celery (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Thyme


Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts or thighs at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix stuffing mix with chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, chopped onion, and celery.
  3. Spread the stuffing mixture evenly over the chicken.
  4. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken with a fork and mix it with the stuffing before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding fresh herbs or veggies in the last hour of cooking. Adjust seasonings to taste.
