Description

Transform broccoli into a crave-worthy side dish that’s crispy and flavorful with garlic and lemon.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Chop broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  3. In a large bowl, toss broccoli with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  4. Spread broccoli in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until crispy and tender.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and lemon juice, then toss and serve warm.

Notes

Don’t skip the oil for crispiness. Keep the broccoli in a single layer for even roasting.
