Description

A simple yet divine pasta dish that combines tangy tomatoes, rich cream, and aromatic garlic, perfect for a quick dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil


Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the tomato sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Lower the heat and slowly stir in the heavy cream until the sauce is velvety and smooth.
  5. Toss in the drained pasta, mixing to coat evenly.
  6. Add grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy, then top with fresh basil before serving.
