Description

A delightful creamy shrimp fettuccine pasta dish that combines comfort and elegance with a rich sauce.


Ingredients

  • Fettuccine Pasta
  • Shrimp
  • Heavy Cream
  • Garlic
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Olive Oil
  • Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil, add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic, add heavy cream, and let it simmer until thickened. Stir in lemon juice and parmesan cheese.
  4. Add the fettuccine and shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat in sauce, adding reserved pasta water as necessary.
  5. Adjust seasoning, garnish with additional parmesan and lemon juice before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or dairy-free alternatives. Pair with a light salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
