Ingredients
- Fettuccine Pasta
- Shrimp
- Heavy Cream
- Garlic
- Parmesan Cheese
- Olive Oil
- Lemon Juice
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil, add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic, add heavy cream, and let it simmer until thickened. Stir in lemon juice and parmesan cheese.
- Add the fettuccine and shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat in sauce, adding reserved pasta water as necessary.
- Adjust seasoning, garnish with additional parmesan and lemon juice before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or dairy-free alternatives. Pair with a light salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
