- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup White Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Dried Cranberries
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter into a greased or parchment-lined baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
- For the frosting, whip together cream cheese and a bit of sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled bars and cut them into squares.
Notes
Make sure your butter is softened but not melted for a fluffy texture. Allow bars to cool completely before frosting.
