- 1 lb Beef Chuck, cut into small chunks
- 2 Carrots, chopped
- 2 Potatoes, diced (Yukon Gold preferred)
- 1 Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Frozen Pie Crusts
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prep the Beef: Cut your beef into small chunks and season with salt and pepper.
- Brown the Meat: In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat, and brown the beef in batches.
- Sauté the Veggies: Add onions, garlic, carrots, and potatoes, cooking until softened.
- Make the Gravy: Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine. Let it simmer until thick, about 10-15 minutes.
- Assemble the Pie: Pour filling into a pie dish and cover with the crust, crimping edges to seal.
- Bake: Brush crust with egg wash and bake at 425°F (220°C) for about 30-35 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
Notes
Serve with a simple side salad. Use cold ingredients for a flakier crust.
