Description

Delightful snack bites combining creamy cottage cheese, tart apples, and warm cinnamon flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup apples, diced
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 egg or flaxseed meal for vegan option


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, apples, oats, cinnamon, and your choice of sweetener until well mixed.
  3. Add the egg (or flaxseed mixture) and combine until everything is nicely mixed.
  4. Scoop mounds of the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each bite.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and firm.
  6. Cool for a few minutes before serving. Best enjoyed warm!
