Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough, place them on a lined baking sheet, and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Frost when cooled.
