Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, ensuring it doesn’t brown.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the crispy rice cereal until well-coated.
- Pour in the vanilla extract and add any optional treats like candy canes or sprinkles.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan using a buttered spatula.
- Allow to cool for about 30 minutes, then cut into squares.
Notes
For easier handling, grease your hands with butter when shaping the treats. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
