Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat them together until creamy and smooth.
  3. Mix in the eggs, one at a time, and stir in the vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Spread the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let the brownies cool in the pan before frosting.
