- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup nuts of your choice (pecans, walnuts, or macadamia nuts)
- 1 cup candy pieces or dried fruits (M&Ms, Skittles, or dried cranberries)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy and smooth.
- Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until blended.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, nuts, and any candy or dried fruits.
- Scoop spoonfuls of the dough onto lined baking sheets, leaving space in between.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let them cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before enjoying.
Notes
Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies. Use room temperature ingredients for better blending. Don’t overbake for softer cookies.
