Description

Delicious cookies blending rich chocolate and crunchy hazelnuts for a perfect treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • Optional: Sea salt for sprinkling on top


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract until well-combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing until just combined without overmixing.
  6. Fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts.
  7. Spoon heaping tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  8. Sprinkle a touch of sea salt on top if desired.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown but centers are slightly underbaked.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store leftover cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. Dough can be frozen and baked directly from frozen.
