Description

A cozy and convenient meal that combines the classic flavors of chicken noodle soup in a ready-to-cook jar.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dried egg noodles
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Layer the dried egg noodles at the bottom of the jar.
  2. Add the diced carrots and celery, followed by the dried herbs and bouillon cubes.
  3. Top with the cooked shredded chicken and seal the jar tightly.
  4. Store in a cool, dry place and use within three months.
  5. To prepare, pour contents into a pot, add 4 cups of water or broth, bring to a boil, then simmer until noodles are tender.

Notes

Use glass jars for best results. Don’t overpack the jar to allow for expansion while cooking.
