Description

Delicious cheesy oven-baked tacos loaded with savory fillings and topped with your favorites.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Crunchy or soft taco shells
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or Turkey (or plant-based alternatives)
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Pepper Jack)
  • Toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, olives, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef (or turkey) over medium heat, drain excess fat, and stir in the taco seasoning.
  3. Place taco shells upright on a baking sheet. Fill each shell with seasoned meat and top generously with shredded cheese.
  4. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the shells are golden.
  5. Remove from the oven and add your choice of toppings.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispy shells, pre-bake them for a few minutes before adding fillings.
