Description

Delightfully cheesy green beans tossed in a garlic sauce, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh green beans
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Rinse and trim the green beans.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to boil, add green beans, and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender but crisp. Drain.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
  4. Lower heat, add cream cheese, stirring until smooth. Add milk if too thick.
  5. Toss in blanched green beans and half the cheddar, mixing to coat.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheddar on top and broil if desired for melted finish.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Add red pepper flakes for a kick. This dish can be prepped a day ahead and reheated.
