Description

A delightful dessert combining warm chai spices with sweet pears and a crunchy almond crumble, perfect for fall.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears (Bartlett or Bosc)
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp chai spices (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, allspice)
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Prepare the tart crust: Combine almond flour, brown sugar, and melted butter. Press into a tart pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the filling: Peel and slice pears, toss with brown sugar and chai spices.
  3. Assemble the tart: Layer the spiced pear slices on the baked crust.
  4. Make the crumble topping: Mix oats, almond flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over pears.
  5. Bake to perfection: Bake for another 25-30 minutes until golden brown and pears are tender.
  6. Chill: Let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
