Description
A delightful twist on the classic Alfredo, combining creamy sauce with zesty Cajun spices and fresh seafood for a comforting dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz Fettuccine Pasta
- 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz Lump Crab Meat
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Seafood: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Toss in the shrimp and crab, then sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until the shrimp turns pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Make the Sauce: Lower the heat, and pour in the heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it gently with the seafood and creamy sauce. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Garnish and Serve: Top with more Parmesan and a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in scallops or lobster as a variation. Adjust the Cajun seasoning to taste for extra heat.
