Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat and add the flour all at once, stirring until a ball forms.
  2. Let the dough cool slightly. Add the eggs one by one, incorporating each fully before adding the next until smooth and glossy.
  3. Using a piping bag or spoon, drop mounds of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving room for expansion.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and light; avoid opening the oven door during baking.
  5. Whip together heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form for the cream filling.
  6. Once the puffs are cooled completely, cut a slit on the side and fill with the vanilla cream using a piping bag or spoon.
